The Best Instagram Shops
Adidas
Starting with Adidas, the well-known clothing manufacturer focuses on sportswear and they are surely running their Instagram Shop right.
The brand is rocking 26 million followers on their page and I bet a good portion of their sales are actually from Instagram Shopping.
The most important part of their shop set up in my opinion is the way they manage catalogs. As we covered before, catalogs are a requirement to open up shop on Instagram.
You’ll see below 3 of the 4 catalogs on their page, those are Men’s Essentials, Women’s Essentials, Kid’s Essentials. The missing one is “Best of Boost” (which features their Boost and Ultraboost series).
Setting up your shop with catalogs that are directed to a certain audience is really smart and makes shopping a lot faster for users.
In my own experience, having to go through a huge catalog filled with all products can be quite tiresome, this solves that problem.
Dior
Dior is one of my favorite pages out there. The way they manage content is beautiful and you can see how the entire page is aesthetically consistent, something I definitely encourage.
You’ll notice that their feed is gorgeous. To me, it feels like I could look at how each product has its own mosaic overflowing with life and creativity.
One thing they do is that unlike Adidas, which has 3 essential catalogs and 1 for their current collection, Dior only has 2 catalogs showing up.
On the shop homepage, both catalogs feature their most recent products. You can filter other catalogs from the “Browse” button or check a list of products by swiping all the way down.
The key point here is that your goal should be to feature your products in a similar fashion. Of course, your brand most likely does not have the budget Dior has, but this can be achieved using some simple photography techniques and DIY accessories, which we’ll cover at a later date.
Spring
Spring, now branded on Instagram as @spingforcreators is a great example of a brand that is doing awesome work with its marketing.
We believe that a creator is anyone with an idea and an audience to share it with, and the world needs more of them. We exist to support these creators, providing everything they need to turn their ideas into reality.
Spring
While they do sell products on their page, the focus of their business is to enable creators with the means to produce t-shirts and other apparel.
You can access several links to their stuff from the link in their bio. If you have multiple websites or pages you want your customers to access, this is the way to go. You can do this with Linktree.
Converse
If you’ve been reading our articles, you know that I have a soft spot for Converse. It might be all those teenage years wearing chucks, but nowadays I see how their marketing strategies played a big part in that too.
If your brand partners with any artists, it is a good strategy to tag them in your bio, letting customers know what is happening.
Converse is constantly tagging products on their feed, making posts and stories shoppable. They create a lot of content with partner artists and if your brand has the budget to do this, it is an amazing strategy. This way you’ll get a lot of followers and potential customers.
Overall, Converse is one of the best Instagram shops out there, and you might already think that, but if not, I recommend that you check out their feed. See how they interact with the audience and artists on comments and posts.
Victoria’s Secret
If you’re not living under a rock, you’ve heard of Victoria’s Secret. You know they sell lingerie among other things, even if you don’t buy from them or wear their pieces.
The brand is well-known for featuring women of all groups and making lingerie that is at the same time beautiful, comfortable and affordable.
You can see that they feature tons of their products on the brand’s Instagram feed and they also have a lot of cool stories showcasing them along with content made by other women out there, such as interviews and Q&As.
This is a great example of a brand to be inspired with if you are running a business in the same niche.
Finishing up
Those are great, but what about the little ones?
We know that those brands have decades of marketing, growth, and a big budget to expend, but this can be done even if you are a small brand or just starting out.
Tomorrow we’ll talk about smaller brands that are killing out there, and give you some inspiration to go even further based on the best Instagram shops that are run by small businesses.
